Steve, his wife Michelle, and their kids Brandon (15), Brooke (12) and Blake (10) joined the Grace Church family in January, 2008. Steve was born and raised in West Virginia. He graduated from Mt. Vernon Nazarene University in 1991 (where he and Michelle met). He then served as youth pastor in WV from 1991-1993 before moving to Kansas City to attend Nazarene Theological Seminary. From 1996-2007 he served as Senior Pastor of the Harrisonville, MO Church of the Nazarene. While there he completed a doctorate degree in preaching from McCormick Theologcial Seminary in Chicago.
He has served as adjunct professor of preaching at MidAmerica Nazarene University and Nazarene Theological Seminary. He is actively involved in the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce, Clarksville Ministerial Assocation, and serves on the credentials board of the Tennessee District. Steve enjoys running, fishing, hunting with his boys and beagles, and riding motorcycles. Steve is passionate about preaching and prayer.
